One benefit is that patients have the opportunity to review much of their medical record and make updates as needed.

Having another set of eyes review the record for accuracy if beneficial to both you and your health care providers. If you come across something incorrect within your online chart, you can take care of it by talking to your doctor at your next visit or by using the “Message to Doctor” option to send a message through MyChart.

If the inaccurate information is from a Premier Health hospital visit or stay, contact that hospital and ask for the health information department to share the updates that need to be made.
