Appointment/Procedure Preparation

All office visits are by appointment only, so please call ahead to make an appointment.

When you are scheduled for a procedure or test for a digestive tract disorder, you will receive detailed instructions about what to do before your appointment. You also will receive details about what will happen during your procedure and after it is complete.

We want all our patients to feel informed about their specific procedure and to feel calm and confident about their treatment plan.

What to Expect

When you come to our office for an appointment, please bring the following: 

  • A list of your allergies 
  • Co-pay or co-insurance, if applicable
  • Insurance card(s)
  • List of current medications, including prescribed medication, over-the-counter medication, vitamins, and herbal supplements 
  • Photo identification, such as your driver's license
  • Your calendar in case a procedure or test needs to be scheduled

If you ever need to miss an appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Three missed appointments without prior notification within one year may end your patient relationship with our practice. 

If you need a medication refill, please talk with your physician during your appointment. When requesting a refill through MyChart or by phone, please allow at least three business days for staff to process the request. Your physician will need to see you in the office at least once a year to continue refilling your medication

After Your Visit or Procedure

You will be asked to sign up for MyChart so that we can communicate back-and-forth through our secured website, as needed.

MyChart also allows you to schedule appointments, check your current and past lab results, and ask non-urgent medical questions to our medical staff.

Billing & Insurance

Please verify your insurance coverage before your appointment. Find a list of the major insurance plans accepted by most Premier Physician Network online. Premier Gastroenterology Specialists accepts most of these insurance plans. 

Premier Physician Network’ customer service team is happy to answer any questions about billing and insurance you may have. Find detailed billing and insurance information in the Premier Physician Network’ billing section.

Payment is expected at the time of your visit, including co-pays and co-insurance for participating insurance companies.

We accept cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. A $30 fee will be applied on all returned checks.

Patients with an outstanding balance must make payment arrangements prior to scheduling an appointment. If you are having financial difficulty, talk with our billing department to create a payment plan. For Premier Physician Network billing department please call 937-991-3100.
