Dr Songer is an excellent practitioner. He is knowledgeable. He is an active listener and provides evidence based answers regarding prescription medications and their interaction and side effects.

He listens well and reviews my last appointment before calling into his office. He takes time.

The staff is very friendly and personable. For me, coming into a psychiatrist's office and getting any sort of help is an overwhelming task. Amazingly, Dr. Songer made me feel comfortable and the whole process was seamless. I've worked with Dr. Songer for a very long time. As a doctor, he is clear-minded and never over-medicates. As a person, he has genuine compassion and a clear mind. The only challenge I face in meeting with him is the music in his waiting room...too loud, too discordant. It can add to upsets if I am already working to stay calm. Otherwise, Dr. Songer, his staff, and even the location work well for me.
