About Dennis M. Brown, MD

Dennis Brown, MD joined Premier Orthopedics in 1990 following graduation from medical school at Wright State University, completion of his residency in Orthopaedic Medicine at Miami Valley Hospital, and the conclusion of his fellowship in adult reconstruction at Christ Hospital Bone and Joint Institute. 

Dr. Brown provides both non-operative and surgical care for a broad set orthopaedic conditions.  He specializes, and focuses his practice in hip resurfacing, total and partial joint replacement, reconstruction, revision of the hip and knee replacement, birth defects in adults, and complex deformities.   For the last 15 years He has also specialized in early intervention techniques for hip arthritis by using advanced hip arthroscopy surgical techniques.  As a result of his training and clinical experience, Dr. Brown has been consulted by colleagues, conducted and published research, and has been invited to present on these topics in both technical and patient forums.  Due in part to his clinical leadership, technical excellence, and professional profile, Good Samaritan Hospital has developed a nationally recognized Total Joint Center for which he serves as the Medical Director.

Dr. Brown is an active member of the orthopaedic community, and has been recognized for his technical accomplishments.  He has been chosen a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons.  He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons.  Dr. Brown is an Associate Clinical Professor, Wright State University School of Medicine. He is a member of the Ohio State Medical Association  and the Montgomery County Medical Society. He maintains office hours at Good Samaritan North Health Center in Englewood and Miami Valley Hospital South in Centerville.
